samsung has organized this Thursday the first European Samsung Summit, in which it has highlighted the innovation and efficiency of its SmartThings Energy platform and has shown its range of products for 2023, among which is the latest television for ‘gaming’, 77-inch QD-OLED.
The company has made this presentation in the city of Frankfurt (Germany), where he has also given more details about products for the intelligent home or Smart Home, as well as digital home appliances.
First of all, the company has highlighted that, currently, an average European home has between eight and ten connected devices, so a large part of consumers require electronic devices and equipment that combine connectivity and sustainability with an attractive design.
To meet these needs, the company proposes the IoT Hub incorporated into its televisions Neo QLED 4K and 8K, so that brand customers do not need to buy an additional adapter for the rest of their devices.
Its 12-bit processing and artificial intelligence (AI) scaling allow features like Shape Adaptive Light Control and Real Depth Enhancer Pro, combined with Auto HDR remastering, to result in a brighter, more realistic image.
Besides, the new 77-inch OLED S95C model –which will also be available soon in 55 and 65 inches– incorporates Quantum Dot technology and Samsung’s Neural 8K processor to take advantage of OLED technology, working in tandem to simultaneously improve brightness and color rendering.
Along with these models and the HW-Q990C and HW-Q610GC (2023) sound bars, which promise an immersive experience, Samsung has recalled the models that it initially exhibited at the beginning of the year, within the framework of CES 2023, held in Las Vegas (United States).
Thus, in this Samsung Summit there have been no shortage of ‘gaming’ monitors such as the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7, 55-inch Odyssey Ark or the latest 77-inch Samsung QD-OLED television, which can be connected, like the rest of the screens, to the Samsung Gaming Hub video game platform.
SMARTTHINGS ENERGY AND EFFICIENCY
The technological manufacturer has also highlighted the functionalities of the SmartThings application, which Allows you to control your home devices from the same ‘smartphone’.
Regarding this service, the company has commented that its Energy section, which allows managing the consumption of the brand’s air conditioning systems in homes, is establishing new standards for efficiency of the products.
Specifically, SmartThings Energy automatically detects the amount of energy consumed by connected equipment, while activate AI Energy modewhich can facilitate the reduction of the electricity bill by monitoring energy consumption.
According to Samsung, this feature reduces the energy consumption of compatible appliances. up to 30 percent in the case of refrigerators, 20 percent in the case of air conditioning units and 70 percent in the case of washing machines.
The company believes that “by combining energy savings with powerful AI, seamless connectivity, and personalized yet premium designs,” the Bespoke range of household appliances “will lead the way for consumers to enjoy more personal and sustainable lifestyles.”
