Samsung now allows users, as announced long ago, buy original spare parts for the Samsung Galaxy S20, S21 and Tab S7+although this initiative is somewhat limited compared to other brands, despite the common factor of using iFixit as a spare parts distributor – something to which Apple has not subscribed.
The company has launched its new repair kits with original parts in association with iFixit, these are kits similar to those of Apple, and also come with guides and tools, Although for now the parts are limited to screens, charging ports and rear glass.
The charging ports arrive at a price of 67 dollars, while the screens cost around $230, with prices ranging depending on the phone model. In the same way, the glass on the back of each device reaches 90 dollars, so we definitely pay dearly for the fact that it is an original rear glass.
The terminals adhered to this program are the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Tab S7+although it is expected that other devices will be added as the program gains strength and maturity.
