Aug. 4 (Portaltic/EP) –

Samsung has launched Odyssey Neo G8, a 4K monitor focused on ‘gaming’with a refresh rate of 240Hz, features that have led it to be awarded at CES 2022 with the ‘Best of Innovation’ Award in the ‘gaming’ category.

The screen of this device, 32 inches, it is curved 100R, a curvature similar to the human field of vision and capable of intensifying immersion during the game, as the company points out it’s a statement.

It’s matte and Unverwriters Laboratories (UL) ‘Glare-Free’ verified, meaning anti-glare and anti-glare, so it absorbs surrounding light so the user isn’t blocked by outside elements like light from windows .

The company has announced that both consoles and other gaming accessories can be easily connected to the monitor thanks to your Auto Source Switch+ system, which automatically detects other devices and switches the screen to their source.

Secondly, Odyssey Neo G8 It features a fast response time of 1 ms (0.001 seconds), giving users a real gaming experience when fast response times are required, such as in first-person shooters (FPS).

Also, your refresh rate, 240Hzmeasures how many times per second the screen is capable of displaying an image and promises to provide a smooth and stable viewing experience.

Samsung has also highlighted that the tearing effect, when the screen lags and the ‘display’ is choppy due to a communication problem between the PC and the monitor, is another factor that can determine the outcome of the game.

However, Odyssey Neo G8 is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which minimizes screen tearing and lag when playing CPU-intensive games.

The actual gaming environment is also enhanced with Quantum Matrix, HDR 200 and 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD (UHD) image quality, which provides realistic graphics and promotes a sense of immersion in the game.

Another standout feature of Samsung’s new release is its height-adjustable stand (HAS), as well as swivel and tilt functionality, for ergonomic efficiency and Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) compliant mounting.

Lighting is another of the determining factors of this ‘gaming’ monitor, since it comes with a function of CoreSync lightingin which the monitor detects the color in the center of the screen and synchronizes it with the color of the lighting at the back of the monitor.
