samsung has announced its innovations in the range of professional monitors with the new ViewFinity S9 with a color calibration engine and a 27-inch Smart Monitor M8.
The company has updated its line of professional monitors with ViewFinity S9 (model S90PC), which features a 27-inch 5K display and is optimized for creative professionals such as graphic designers and photographers, with features such as a 5,120 x 2,880 pixel resolution, a wide color gamut of 99% DCI-P3, and Delta E ? 2.
This monitor integrates a color calibration engine, which allows users to adjust the white balance, gamma and RGB color balance for perfect precision with their smartphones through the Samsung Smart Calibration application. The matte screen limits light reflection and glare.
ViewFinity S9 includes USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports to connect cameras and other devices. Includes a 4K slim fit camera and it supports native video conferencing through applications such as Google Meet, present in Samsung Smart Hub.
SMART MONITOR M8
More versatile is the new SmartMonitor M8 (M80C model) 27 inch, which joins the existing 32-inch model, both with 4k resolution. It is available in four color options: blue, green, pink and white, to match the decoration of the room where it is installed.
This monitor, designed for both personal and work environments, has a height adjustable stand with tilt function. The screen can pivot 90 degrees, helping to view long documents with less scrolling.
The Smart Monitor M8 can connect, monitor, and manage hundreds of compatible connected devices through the built-in SmartThings Hub, including lights, cameras, doorbells, locks, thermostats, and more.
Samsung has announced that it plans to expand device options and usability through support for Matter functionality and Home Connectivity Alliance standards starting this year.
This monitor also includes a SlimFit camera which is upscaled to 2K resolution and works with video conferencing apps like Google Meet. Plus, it’s protected by the Samsung Knox Vault, which encrypts personal data and keeps stored files and information isolated from the device’s core operating system to protect against attacks.
Samsung will present the new monitors within the framework of the consumer electronics fair CES 2023which will be held in Las Vegas (United States) between January 5 and 8.
