Samsung goes for Apple with its new ViewFinity S9 5K monitor for professionals



A year ago Apple launched the Studio Displaya professional monitor designed for use with company equipment where an iMac was not the best option, or where we would like to be able to do professional-grade work on a much larger screen than our MacBook. Now, Samsung is going for it with the ViewFinity S9.

Among the specifications of this monitor, we find a diagonal of 27 inches, Factory color calibration, IPS panel, and 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Likewise, its surface will have an anti-reflective treatment, something that although it is not for everyone, it is usually the most comfortable.

The ViewFinity S9 features HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and DisplayPort connectors, also allowing the charging laptops with a power of up to 96W. We also have a certificate VESA Display HDR 600, so we can expect a maximum brightness of at least 600 nits.
