L’HOSPITALET DE LLOBREGAT (BARCELONA), September 27 () –
Sales in shopping centers and parks in Spain have accumulated growth of 5.2% in the first half of the year, according to the Shopping Centers and Parks Sector Observatory, prepared by PwC and Apresco, reported in a joint statement this Friday.
The report was presented this Friday at The District, which has been held since Wednesday at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue, and adds that the average employment rate in the sector stands at 94.6%, 0.5 points above the same period last year.
This growth is due to the moderation of inflation and “good macroeconomic data”, which have supported the growth of sales in the sector, which has accumulated 13 consecutive quarterly sales increases.
All types of activities have increased their sales both in the second quarter and in the aggregate of the first semester, although the strength of Home, DIY and Electronics continues to stand out, which has grown by 10.9% year-on-year between April and June.
On the other hand, customer influx has decreased by 1.1% in the second quarter and has increased by 0.9% in the first half and “maintains its decoupling with sales.”
