Sackboy: A Big Adventure receives support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex



The third major version of NVIDIA’s AI upscaling technology, DLSS 3, has arrived to the game Sackboy: A Big Adventure, thus adding to the list of games compatible with this technology. NVIDIA had already released drivers at the end of 2022 with support for this game, but until now DLSS 3 was not supported and only supported the second generation of this technology, along with raytracing for shadows and ambient occlusion.

Unlike DLSS 1 and DLSS 2, DLSS 3 It is compatible only with graphics NVIDIA RTX 40 series RTXand introduces a new technology for generating intermediate frames, so the performance achieved is multiplied compared to previous versions that only rescaled frames previously generated to a lower resolution by the GPUs themselves.

Along with support for DLSS 3, the game developers have also added support for latency improvement technology. NVIDIA Reflex and SER (Shader Execution Reordering) to improve performance on graphics based on the NVIDIA ADA architecture. With these technologies, the game can be played at 4K with high detail quality without consuming so many resources and taking advantage of the innovations that the RTX 40 integrates in terms of AI acceleration hardware.
