MADRID Dec. 4 () –
The Russian authorities have claimed this Wednesday to have shot down 35 drones launched by the Ukrainian Army against several regions of the country, within the framework of the war unleashed after the invasion order signed in February 2022 by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has stated in a statement published on its Telegram account that its anti-aircraft defense systems have initially shot down 24 drones launched against Rostov, Bryansk, Belgorod, Ryazan, Krasnodar and Astrakhan.
Subsequently, it has announced the destruction of eleven other drones, including six launched against Rostov, two against Kursk and one against Bryansk, Ryazan and Kaluga, respectively. Thus, it has accused kyiv of “trying to carry out terrorist attacks” against its territory, without commenting on victims or material damage.
