The anti-aircraft forces of the Russian Army today repelled a massive attack by Ukrainian drones in the Moscow region by shoot down at least 32 Ukrainian drones who were heading to the Russian capital, according to the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin.
“So far 32 drones flying in the direction of Moscow have been shot down,” the mayor reported on Telegram.
As he was able to verify Efearound 8:30 in the morning (05:30 GMT) to the south of the Russian capital, explosions began to be heard as a result of the anti-aircraft fire and the impact on the drones.

The drones were shot down on the Ramenskoe, Domodedovo and Kolomna districts, and forced the temporary closure of the Domdedovo international airport and the Zhukovsky military and civil airfield.
The Telegram channel Baza published several videos of drones and reported that two houses in the town of Stanovoe in the Ramenskoe district caught fire after the fall of fragments from a drone, which also damaged a car and injured a person. Sheremetyevo International Airport, north of the capital, also limited its operations.
Shortly before, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported the downing of 23 drones over Russian territory overnight: 17 over the region of Bryanskthree about Rostov, two about Belgorod and one about the region of Kurskpartially occupied by the Ukrainian Army since last August.
