“Tonight the kyiv regime’s attempts to carry out terrorist attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation have been stopped,” Defense said in a message shared on its official Telegram channel.

In the same statement, the Russian authorities specified that “service air defense systems have destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Belgorod region” and that another drone “has been intercepted over the territory of the region.” of Kursk”.

This new attempted attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces comes after the spokesman for the Russian Presidency, Dimitri Peskov, made public this Friday President Vladimir Putin’s intention to negotiate a possible cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, always and when the rest of the world recognizes Russian sovereignty over the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Kherson, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhia, incorporated into Russia in a series of referendums declared illegal by Ukraine and its allies.

This same Friday afternoon, the Ukrainian authorities reported the death of three people as a result of Russian bombings that took place precisely over the Ukrainian province of Donetsk, also leaving two others injured.
