The air defense forces of the Russian Army have intercepted 29 drones from Ukraine that reached the Russian regions of Kaluga, Smolensk and Kursk during the early hours of this Sunday, according to the authorities of the Eurasian country.
“Last night an attempt by the kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a message published on its social media channel. Telegram.
The Russian authorities have specified that a total of 20 unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted over the territory of the Bryansk region, seven over the territory of the Kaluga region and one over the territories of the Smolensk and Kursk regions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not commented on these attacks so far.
