The Russian authorities claimed this Friday to have shot down about 85 drones launched by the Ukrainian Army against its territory and the Crimean peninsula, annexed in 2014, a step not recognized by the international community.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has indicated in its Telegram account that air defense systems have intercepted a total of 83 devices, before accusing kyiv of “trying to carry out terrorist attacks with unmanned devices against targets in the Russian Federation.” .
Thus, he detailed that 36 drones have been shot down in the Kursk region, to which 20 are added in Bryansk, eight in Voronezh, four in Oriol and three in Belgorod. In addition, twelve other aircraft have been destroyed over the Crimean peninsula.
