He added that one woman was hospitalised with serious injuries and three other people were treated by doctors at the scene.
Saratov Region Governor Roman Busagin has reported another nighttime drone attack in the town of Engels, about 12 kilometres from the regional capital.
“As a result of the drone attack, a multi-storey building on Pushkin Street in Engels was damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties,” the governor wrote.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that it has shot down 9 unmanned aircraft over the region of Saratov last night.
Three other drones have been neutralized in Kurskwhere Ukraine has been carrying out a military operation since 6 August.
