June 2 () –

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this Sunday the interception of a Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missile and three drones over the Russian region of Belgorod.

“On June 2, from 4:05 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. Moscow time, the Kiev regime attempted to carry out terrorist attacks using a Neptune anti-ship missile and aircraft-type drones against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation that have been intercepted,” indicated the Ministry in a statement collected by the Russian news agency TASS.

The anti-aircraft system has shot down the Neptune missile and the drones have been destroyed over the territory of Belgorod, the Ministry explained.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense has assured that it has taken the town of Umanskoye, in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk. “The Centra group of Russian troops has liberated the town of Umanskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Ministry reported.

In that same area, the Ukrainian forces “have lost more than 360 soldiers” in counterattacks repelled by the Russian contingent, information that has not been able to be independently verified.
