Russia intensifies its offensive in Kharkiv;  Ukrainian army replaces its commander-in-chief of the region


This Monday, May 13, the Russian Army intensifies its military ground offensive in Kharkiv, in the north-east of Ukraine, where it has promoted a new battle front since the weekend. The president of the attacked country, Volodymyr Zelensky, acknowledged heavy clashes near the border in the east and northeast of the country, while Ukrainian soldiers, outgunned and outnumbered, try to stop the Russian assault. Moscow intensifies its aggression at a time when Ukraine is awaiting new weapons announced by its Western allies. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, its troops have been successful in improving the tactical position in the Kharkiv region. In the midst of this panorama, kyiv confirmed that it replaces the commander in chief of its Army in that region.
