The Russian Foreign Ministry has expanded its ‘black list’ on Wednesday with a total of 77 US citizens, including state governors and state secretaries, as well as visible heads of companies that supply arms to Ukraine.
Likewise, this new round of sanctions also includes some relatives of what Russia considers as “the formation and implementation of an anti-Russian course”, among which Christine Pelosi, political strategist and daughter of the former president of the United States House of Representatives, stands out. United Nancy Pelosi.
“Once again, for a better understanding in Washington, we emphasized that any hostile action against Russia, including a dismantling of the sanctions spiral, will be rejected and will hit the United States itself like a boomerang,” the Russian diplomatic portfolio said.
Thus, the extension of the list of sanctions includes thirty state governors of the United States; seven other Secretaries of State for Oklahoma, Massachusetts, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee, Washington, and Kansas; and representatives of arms companies and agencies focused on Moldova or Belarus.
With this new round, Russia has sanctioned more than 1,300 Americans for allegedly promoting an anti-Russian course at home and internationally. Moscow argues that it is taking “mirror measures” to those applied from Washington and, in general, denies permission to enter the country to those sanctioned.
