May 6. (EUROPE PRESS) –

Russian forces have claimed to have shot down two Ukrainian ballistic missiles in the Crimea region of southeastern Ukraine.

The anti-aircraft defenses have shot down the Grom-2 projectiles, as explained by a spokesman for the pro-Russian Crimean authorities, Oleg Kriuchkov, in statements broadcast on Telegram.

Previously, it was the top politician in the Crimean region, Sergei Aksionov, who had reported the destruction of a projectile in the Crimean area.

Since August, Russian and pro-Russian forces have shot down several Ukrainian aircraft, mainly small drones, in the Crimean area, including the city of Sevastopol.
