Russia and Ukraine exchange blows and launch mutual attacks with dozens of drones throughout the night

The war in ukraine continues and during this night the Ukrainian air defense units destroyed 50 of the 73 Russian drones launched against its territory, many of which were aimed at kyiv, as confirmed by the army of this country.

At the moment, no material damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the attacks, according to the kyiv military administration on the Telegram messaging application.

“The unmanned aerial vehicles were flying in different directions toward kyiv,” said Sergiy Popko, head of kyiv’s military administration. “The anti-aircraft alert in the city lasted more than three hours.”

For their part, Russian anti-aircraft batteries have shot down this Sunday 36 Ukrainian drones over five regions of the country, including three bordering Ukraine, Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod.

According to the Ministry of Defense, A total of 27 enemy unmanned aircraft were shot down over the skies of Kurskpartially occupied by Ukrainian troops since August.
