The Russian authorities have accused the United States Administration on Tuesday of planning a project to test non-approved drugs among the African population for their subsequent approval and release on the market.
According to the head of the Russian Radiological, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the Russian Armed Forces have obtained this information thanks to documents seized in Ukraine.
Kirillov has assured that the Office of Threat Reduction of the US Department of Defense, in collaboration with other agencies of the country and the European Union, “are involved in the study of pathogens in the countries of the African continent.”
According to Kirillov, this maneuver would always be carried out “in the interests of the so-called big pharma” and would also consist of training specialists in infectious diseases in countries like Kenya or Uganda, according to TASS.
The Russian military high command has asserted that the project would not only involve American employees, but would also count on the collaboration of employees of the Scientific and Technical Center of Ukraine.
