It seems that at least one of the models that will be presented in society on November 3 at the AMD Radeon RX 7000 presentation event is already known, and that is that according to what we read in Videocardz, The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX will be the company’s first card to arrive with the XTX nomenclature since the X1900XTX, back in 2006.
These nomenclatures, until now, were present in the GPU naming scheme itself, such as XT, XTX or XTXH, but they had not all reached the model name of the graphics card itself, which would imply that AMD has a new level of performance planned above what was expected.
For now, it is known that the RX 7900 XT and XTX will be introduced, so it would be reasonable to think that there will be at least XT models of the 7800 and 7700, with other intermediate models that may arrive with the 7×50 nomenclature for models enhanced with Navi 3X GPUs with 3D V-Cache.
In any case, it is clear that AMD plans to go head-to-head against NVIDIA, and it seems that it will do so with as many card models as necessary, taking advantage of weaknesses such as the withdrawal of the 12GB 4080.
