RUMOR: Nintendo is working on a new Mario Super Sluggers with Bandai Namco

We receive interesting news related to Mario Super Sluggerssince a strong rumor is circulating stating that the baseball saga will be back thanks to a new project by Nintendo and Bandai Namco.

As you surely remember, the last appearance of Mario Super Sluggers It was in 2008 for Wii, becoming the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball (2005). Since then no more has been known about it and everything seems to indicate that the situation will change very soon.

According to information shared by the well-known leaker Zippo, Nintendo is developing a new sports game with Mario as the protagonist, all with the help of Bandai Namco and Now Entertainment.

Why would the chosen sport be baseball? Because it’s the one that hasn’t appeared in a Nintendo title for the longest time (not counting Mario Sports Superstars for 3DS in 2017) and, furthermore, because months ago it was discovered that those from Kyoto began to update some renders of Daisy that belonged to Mario Super Sluggers.

If that weren’t enough, Zippo says that one of the big surprises is that the guest of honor in this installment would be Pac-Man, something not too far-fetched to think about thanks to the fact that the character has already been in other sagas of the house such as Super Smash Bros.
