We receive interesting news related to Emiusthe mysterious horror game that Nintendo presented on July 10, since according to a new rumor this installment would not be being developed by Bloober Team, as was thought during the last week.
As you probably remember, the franchises of the big N have something in common: they are aimed at players of all ages, so when the jump has been made to some games with a more mature plot (such as Fatal Frame) the eyes of the community are very attentive to what will be shown.
Because of this, the announcement of Emius Nintendo’s announcement has attracted a lot of attention and players are still looking for any clue that might give them information about what awaits them. It was even thought to be Project Mone of the 5 projects that Bloober Team is working on, responsible for the remake of Silent Hill 2.
However, it was on a recent podcast by IGN in which they shared some very interesting details about Emius:
“We have sources that say it’s probably not a Bloober game, reputable sources.”
If this information is true, those interested in Nintendo’s new horror installment will be taken back to the beginning of their investigation and will have to settle for the little or nothing that was revealed in the game’s trailer.
What is Emius?
It is worth mentioning that Emius is a new project that Nintendo presented that consisted of a short video with cryptic trailers that, apparently, belong to an upcoming horror video game for Switch that will have an M rating according to the ESRB.
The trailer shows a man in a trench coat wearing a paper bag on his head and a happy face painted on with marker. At the end, a text is read that appropriately translates to “smiling man” in Japanese.
