With the remakes of resident evil 4, silent hill, dead space and more horror games, fans of the genre have not been so happy. If you are one of them, there is good news, because apparently there is a classic horror franchise that will soon return.
We are talking about Clock Tower, a point and click survival horror game that came to the SNES, PlayStation and other platforms and had a couple of sequels. Unfortunately, after Clock Tower 3 (2002), the franchise went on hiatus and the original game became cult.
The IP was from the Human company, but the rights went to Sunfost, which bought them after Human filed for bankruptcy.

Well, we know that the franchise could return soon thanks to Dusk Golem, the most important informant in horror games. Shortly before a Sunsoft event, the insider invited fans of the horror genre not to miss it and hinted that one of the announcements would be the return of Clock Tower, which would be in charge of WayForward, a studio recognized for its specialized work in 2D titles. Possibly Dusk Golem was referring to the return of Clock Tower in 2022.

However, there was no announcement of Clock Tower in the presentation, which surprised not only the followers of Dusk Golem, but also himself, but that is not why his information is false, since he mentioned that it is another “waiting game”, in the same way in the which referred to the return of silent hill when it was still a rumor that Konami refused to confirm. It is worth reminding you that you must take the possible return of Clock Tower as something not confirmed, since neither Sunsoft nor WayForward have spoken about it; however, also keep in mind that Dusk Golem has shared a lot of accurate information in the past.
