“I believe that the conversion of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant to Russian standards will take place by 2030,” said Renat Karchaa, adviser to the CEO of Rosenergoatom. “The modernization and development plans are large-scale. At the moment, the analysis process, the details and the preparation of the relevant production processes for launch are underway,” he added.

The Zaporizhia plant has six reactors commissioned between 1984 and 1995.
