Romania investigates the alleged suicide of a French NATO soldier in a Bucharest hotel

The Romanian Military Prosecutor investigates the death, presumably by suicide, of a French soldier who has been found at your hotel in Bucharest city where he was staying. In this sense, the body of the soldier appeared with nailed scissors.

The soldier, who was part of the NATO Battle Group led by France that was established in May in Romania, was found by an employee.

According to judicial sources cited by both Agerpres as by Romanian public television, the main hypothesis is currently that of suicide, since the soldier’s room was locked from the inside and the door showed no signs of having been forced, reports Eph.

The deceased, 41, had stayed at the hotel on November 3 along with other French soldiers. Their rooms were reserved until January 3, 2023, according to the aforementioned sources.
