Features of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo
One of the features that it boasts the most is the 200 MP camera, something that teams like the Moto Edge 30 Pro or the Honor Magic 5 Pro already have. However, the sale price of this phone is more competitive.
And although it is not the most powerful camera in the upper mid-range that it is aimed at, it has good results on a day-to-day basis. Especially when taking shots on the move, as it stabilizes them so that they look frozen.
During some daytime tests the phone manages to have good light management in the shots and captures the photos without sinning in saturating the color.
In addition, Xiaomi organized a couple of activities to test the night mode of the Redmi Note 12 Pro +. In these she had a good performance, but not excellent.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ night mode tests
The phone has a 200 MP camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle and a 2 MP macro that during a test at the Medellín Planetarium had good shots, however, in its own night mode, some were not ideal.
This equipment was able to capture laser images of a neon light experience with satisfaction, especially in video and in the normal shots that a user would do in this type of activity.
In addition, we were testing a couple of modes that the camera has, in the Long Exposure option: neon trail and light trail, where the images we obtained were to a certain extent psychedelic and where the ability of the phone to use the light that has available.

We were also in an experience inside the Medellín aquarium, where the reflection of the lights, fish and darkness pose a special challenge for the cameras and the tests in automatic mode were quite satisfactory.
However, in night mode shots I had a couple of good images and a couple of bad ones. In the first case, it manages to balance the light of the object being photographed, but in a couple of shots what it does is draw a line on the captured objects that looks artificial, like someone is painting a white line between the main subject and his or her environment.
In the case of the selfie camera, there was also a similar situation, since a long exposure of light on the main objective causes the features to be drawn with more contrast when taking a portrait and therefore a cartoonish result is obtained.
Performance and battery
Another of the qualities of this phone is its 5,000 mAh battery, which is capable of charging from 0 to 100% in 19 minutes. In the same way, although it is not the fastest fast charge on the market, this option is still just as competitive.
I must admit that it has a good performance, since I had the WiFi connection port turned on for a little more than 15 hours during the work day and activities that we had, in addition to using the phone to connect to networks, check emails and take pictures and the result was a consumption of 45% of the battery.
As for the app and app pass, the phone does not slow down and performs well.
Conclusion
This upper-middle-range device can be a strong competition for the launches that have been made in recent months, since it adopts several of the flagship tools of other smartphones and adapts them in a balanced way in a phone under 15,000 pesos.
The price factor, therefore, can affect why many Xiaomi Fans renew their 10 and 11 series with this equipment and could convince some user of other brands such as Samsung or Motorola.
For this reason, I consider that it could be a good option for those who want to migrate to a lower mid-range or want to renew their Xiaomi.
