EA Sports FC to Explode 30 Years of EA Making FIFA

EA Sports’ relationship with soccer dates back to 1993, the year in which the first video game of the franchise was released with only national teams and without the real names of the players. After 30 years, the franchise will enter a new stage that will exploit the studio’s experience with this video game.

“Everything you love about our games will be a part of EA Sports FC – the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there,” Cam Weber, president of EA Sports, confirmed last year.

The executive highlighted that the most attractive game modes, such as Ultimate Team, will remain on the platform, as will the licenses of more than 19,000 players, more than 700 teams, more than 100 stadiums and 30 leagues, such as the English, Spanish , the German, the Italian and even the MLS, where Lionel Messi will arrive.
