Researchers design a robot to pack your groceries at the supermarket

It does this by using touch sensors on the gripper pads, which simultaneously measure the hardness or softness of an item to create a delicateness score.

Then the most durable items are stored first, and the most delicate items are placed in a special compartment to be stored later.
