Redmi launches a new line of mobile phones. The Xiaomi subsidiary announced this Wednesday the new Redmi Turbo 3. This is a device that, as the name suggests, is focused on performance. For this reason, the manufacturer has decided to equip its new proposal with one of the latest Qualcomm chips.
Redmi Turbo 3 aims to position itself as a more powerful mid-range product. Here, precisely, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 enters the scene, a SoC presented just over a month ago that is one step below the prodigious Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The “S” refers to some cuts to achieve a slight adjustment of price.

A mobile that promises performance
Power is one of the keys to this device. The Qualcomm chip, manufactured with lithography 4 nanometers of TSCM, Xiaomi engineering comes accompanied to make the most of it. The Redmi Turbo 3 includes a helium cooling system and the Rage Engine 3.0 system that promises to improve performance when playing.
And if we talk about games, we have to talk about the display panel. The equipment incorporates a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Here we find interesting elements for the visual experience such as HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 2,400 nits.
As is customary in most Android phones, the camera is located under a hole in the screen. Behind the hole it hides a 20 MP sensor that uses AI to improve photographs. It is also capable of recording video in 1080p at 30 frames per second or in 720p at 60 frames per second.
On the back of the device we find the camera module, which is not a module itself, but three circular islands that contain each of the sensors of the photographic system. On the one hand we have a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor, and on the other hand a secondary sensor, in this case ultra wide angle, 8 MP.
The rear cameras can also take advantage of Xiaomi's AI improvements, such as Chasing Focus 2.0 automatic beauty improvements. In addition, allow you to record video in up to 4K at 30 frames per second. If we want to record in slow motion, the maximum that the device offers us is 1080p at 240 frames per second.
If we focus on the autonomy section, the manufacturer has equipped the terminal with a 5000 mAh battery. This is a quite interesting capacity if we take into account the thickness of 7.8. It supports 90W fast wired charging. A full charge should allow us to watch between 13 and 14 hours of videos.
