REDMAGIC, ZTE’s gaming company, has announced its international version of the Redmagic 9S Pro equipped with the most powerful SoC from Qualcomm at present: The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at 3.4 GHz on CPU and 1 GHz on GPU. We have already seen these speeds with OC in other terminals from the parent company. This gaming smartphone, with several functions specifically oriented to games such as its two touch triggers with 520 Hz touch recognition frequency and integrated lighting.

Besides of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3we have the chip “Red Core 2 Pro” which the company calls a “gaming chip.” There are models with 12 and 16 GB of RAM, as well as 256 GB or 512 GB of internal UFS 4.0 storage.

The screen has a diagonal of 6.8 inches with FullHD+ resolution of 2,480 x 1,116 pixels at 120 HzThe battery, on the other hand, reaches 6,500 mAh distributed in two modules. It supports 80 W fast charging.

Since it is a gaming terminal, a cooling system is integrated with a fan that spins at 22,000 RPM placed under the cameras and forming part of the ICE 13.5 system with a layer of copper, graphene, dual pump and other components dedicated to keeping the temperatures of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under control.

The photography aspect is not the priority, but we still have two cameras, a 50 MP main one with a Samsung GN5 sensor and another wide-angle one with a Samsung JN1 sensor. The front camera is 16 MP.

The REDMAGIC 9S Pro will go on sale on July 24th with a price starting from 649 euros.
