Finally, Realme has presented his new GT Neo 5 in two versions, one with 150W fast charging and the other with 240W. The phone has been presented in China exclusively for the country, but has confirmed that a global version will be available this month. Considering that the Barcelona MWC is just around the corner and it was right here where We could see this 240W SUPERVOOC fast charge working for the first time it is not surprising that we can see the variant that will be sold in the rest of the world in those days.
It is possible that, like last year, Realme will take advantage of the MWC in Barcelona to present the new GT 3 Series. A phone slightly different from the one presented in China, but that will have some shared features like this 240W fast charge.
It is to be expected that one of these common elements is the battery, in the recently presented GT Neo 5 the battery is 4,600 mAh with more than 60 layers of protection and TÜV Rheinland certification, capable of retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 rapid charge cycles. In addition, to allow this fast charging, it has been designed a special wire which supports 12A and a 240W GaN charger to keep the size down.
We wait know some more details in the coming days with a view to its next release.
