Razer has announced the new Razer Blade 16 gaming laptop, which has new graphics Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series and has a profile of only 0.59 inch at its thinnest point, as well as a new dual-fan cooling system.
The brand has announced that it has modified this device to combine “an ultra-portable design with powerful performance”, in the words of the head of Razer’s Notebook & Accessories division, Travis Furst, as noted at CES Las Vegas 2025.
This device, which comes with a 16-inch QHD+ OLED screen, has a refresh rate of 240 Hz, with a ClearMR 11000 rating. Its response time is 0.2 ms, it is flanked by reduced 4.7 mm bezels and offers Calman Verified color profiles from Rec. 709 to Adobe RGB and DCI-P3.
Razer has also highlighted the profile of the new Razer Blade 16, which reaches 0.59 inches at its thinnest point, in addition to the laptop being equipped with a one-piece chassis, with the frame cut from a single block. aluminum.
For a slim design, this computer features a next-generation vapor chamber cooling system with dual fans to cool it efficiently and keep it quiet during workloads.
This new cooling solution covers 57 percent of the motherboard surface and features 0.05mm exhaust fins to provide greater heat dissipation in a low-profile solution.
Razer Blade 16 also mounts the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics – powered by Nvidia Blackwell – for laptops and comes with 12 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 800MHz LPDDR5X memory and up to 155W maximum graphics power to boost rendering.
The team also increases performance with Nvidia DLSS4 and offers access to Nvidia NIM microservices, that is, next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, which allow enthusiasts and developers to create AI assistants, agents and workflows with a maximum performance on systems compatible with this format.
The manufacturer has also indicated that, for the first time, this computer will have an AMD Ryzen processor, until AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores/24 threads, to tackle heavy workloads and intense gaming sessions.
With a neural processing unit (NPU) of up to 50 TOPS, this new chip provides access to Copilot+ experiences, including image creation tools with Cocreator, live translations with Live Captions, and enhanced Windows Studio effects.
Finally, the brand has noted that the Razer Blade 16 will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2025 through Razer.com, RazerStore stores and other selected establishments, although it has not announced what its sales price will be.
