This year, however, it has wanted to be much more discreet with its proposals, which include a headrest with sound and a new audio bar with AI.
Project Carol is a head cushion that incorporates 7.1 surround sound equipment with wireless reception, promising “more direct audio” (so much so that you have the speakers just inches from your ears) and “a more immersive soundscape.” Furthermore, some kind of haptic motor is hidden under the padding, so that the sound emanating from the headrest is accompanied by vibrations.
Ultimately a kind of wireless speaker for gamers, Project Carol has an autonomy of eight hours and in theory it adjusts to any chair thanks to its fixing system using straps. A surprisingly mundane detail for Razer, especially considering that for now it’s a concept design with no known marketing intent.
Leviathan V2 Pro, a sound bar with directional audio that follows the user’s movements
The Leviathan V2 Pro bar also incorporates a subwoofer to reinforce the bass and, like a good Razer product, it has a programmable RGB lighting system.
Available in January, its PVP will be 489 euros.
