On November 16, the group of volunteers from Age of Herocalled “Raon,” held its 41st meal service in Rodem Housea center located in Yangpyeong that supports children with severe disabilities. This effort not only included preparing fresh meals, but also participating in a special event: making kimchi for the winter. In total, they donated 2.75 million KRW (approximately $1,976) and prepared 2,500 heads of cabbage to ensure the center’s kimchi supply during the colder months.
The increase in the number of cabbages, which went from 1,600 last year to 2,500 this year, is a clear example of the group’s commitment and dedication. A Raon representative said: “When we learned that almost twice as many cabbages had been prepared this year, we left early for Yangpyeong with mixed feelings of anxiety and excitement. However, knowing that our hard work will benefit the children of Rodem House “It made it all worth it.”
