Quick and easy ways to fix almost any problem in Windows 11

WhyNotWin11

Although in Windows 11 there are several problems that can arise and that can complicate our lives, the truth is that, normally, a simple solution can be applied to solve said problem.

Windows 11 is the latest operating system that Microsoft has released and, in general, it works well and without any type of error, but this does not mean that from time to time there are problems.

It may be the case that the performance becomes slow, that there are errors when working in different situations and we even have difficulties installing the operating system itself.

Fortunately, there are some solutions that you can try to solve the most common Windows 11 problems, since, in many cases, they are not excessively serious failures.

The best thing is to see what those failures are and what we can do at the moment in which we begin to experience them.

Solutions for almost any problem in Windows 11:

Problems installing Windows 11

Surely you already know that many users have not been able to install Windows 11, because the requirements that Microsoft has set are quite demanding.

We must have a compatible processor, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, plus enough disk space and memory. If the computer we use does not meet these requirements, we may not be able to install Windows 11 through Windows Update or the Installation Assistant, although we can by other methods.

If we have not yet installed Windows 11, but we want to make sure that we can have it on the computer, it is best to download and install PC Health Check from Microsoft or a third-party tool such as WhyNotWin11.

Assuming that we meet all the requirements, we may run into some bugs when installing this version of the operating system.

Many of these errors are resolved by doing the following:

  • The first thing, since it is usually quite effective, is to run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
  • Must disable any antivirus or security software that may interfere with the installation.
  • It is best not to have no external device or peripheral connected to the computer.
  • If we are short of memory, it is best to release as much as we caneither by deleting temporary files, uninstalling applications or moving files, especially large ones, to an external drive.
  • Another very convenient action is to create a bootable USB or DVD drive to install Windows 11 from it if necessary.

performance issues

It may be that, once Windows 11 is installed, we notice how the computer is slow or that after using it for a while its performance is not the same as it was at the beginning.

Well, there are some ways to improve all this behavior and speed up the system:

  • The first thing is search for updates and install all that there are, including any type of patch that the developers may have sent.
  • Adjust your power plan settings to balance performance and battery life.
  • We must disable the startup programs that we do not use
  • It would be best to launch the Task Manager and see what is the use of CPU, memory, disk and network, to close that process that consumes excessively.
  • It is also convenient free up space on the disk and remove junk files.
  • Update all drivers to ensure compatibility and stability with Windows 11.

Windows 11 error codes

There are certain error codes that occur fairly often and that have a specific meaning, as well as a precise solution so that everything returns to normal:

These codes are:

  • Error code 0xC1900101: it means that we have a problem with the driver for Windows 11 to be installed. The solution consists of updating or reverting said drivers, uninstalling the antivirus or security software that we have and even disconnecting any external device at the time of installation.
  • Error code 0x80070070: there is not enough memory on the disk. If we want this error code to stop appearing, we must save disk space by deleting what we do not need (files, programs and even temporary files).
  • Error code 0x80070002 0x20009: Boot Configuration Data (BCD) is preventing Windows 11 from installing or updating. To solve it, we must use the Advanced Startup Options menu, which is entered thanks to the Windows Command Prompt.
  • Blue screen: This is a blockage that we have all suffered from some time. It consists of the system stopping working and displaying a blue screen with an error message. To solve it, we can start in safe mode and perform a system restore or update the drivers, in case the error comes from there.

Other common problems in Windows 11

You can also experience another series of errors in Windows 11 that we can solve without having to take the computer to the technical service.

The most common are the following:

  • wifi not working: If we can’t connect WiFi in Windows 11, it’s best to reset your network settings or update drivers. If the above does not work, restoring the system to a date where we did not have this problem can be a good way to avoid the failure.
  • Slowness: if the slowness appears suddenly, it is best to restart the computer so that all active programs that could cause this sporadic problem are closed.
  • update problems: If we have any kind of problem after proceeding with an update or even at the moment in which we try it, it is best to run the Windows Update troubleshooter. If the problems come once we have updated with compatibility failures or problems with the drivers, it is best to update all of them.
  • Compatibility: If we see that some applications are not compatible with Windows 11, the best way to fix it is to try to run the application in compatibility mode or update the application.

As you have been able to read, many of the problems that we have on our computer with the operating system can be solved easily and simply.

Fortunately, Windows 11 is quite stable, but if the errors that we have just shown you appear, at least you will know how to react and what to do to solve them.
