Today we have mentioned, with the arrival of the new OnePlus 11 in Europe, that this is the first certified terminal for the Snapdragon Spaces. However, this is not the only thing that has happened in relation to this technology, Well, the company itself has explained that it will collaborate with 7 global companies for the expansion of Snapdragon Spaces.
For example, KDDI Corporation will collaborate for several years with Qualcomm to expand mixed reality uses of this technology and create a development program, while several mobile operators such as Telefonica and Vodafone are working with Qualcomm to create new XR experiences and hardware.
Xiaomi has also revealed its Wireless AR Glass Discovery Editionglasses that work thanks to the Snapdragon XR2 platform and that will allow users to make use of Snapdragon Spaces to bring mixed reality and augmented reality experiences to real life, something that is still the goal of this development technology.
Already at the time we talked about how important this technology could be for the advancement of augmented reality, but as more companies jump on the bandwagon of collaboration with Qualcomm, more quickly we will see how progress moves in this direction.
