Sometimes brands don’t hold a big event or presentation to advertise your productssimply add them to their catalog without further ado. It’s what has made Qualcomm with its Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a processor for mid-range which has been added directly to the catalogue of processors available by the American manufacturer. This new Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is coming to replace Gen 1since there has not been a Gen 2 of this Snapdragon 6 range in between.

This new Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 has been an update of the previous Gen 1, with a manufacturing process of 4nm as well. The clock speeds of the most powerful cores have been updated, so the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 will feature 8 cores4 Cortex-A78 a 2.4 GHz (up from 2.2GHz in Gen 1) and 4 Cortex-A55s at 1.8GHz. Supports memory LPDDR5 at 3,200 MHz and comes with an Adreno 710 GPU. It supports a display configuration of up to FullHD+ at 120Hz and comes with the Hexagon NPU that will offer help for AI tasks.

In addition, it can handle a 200 MP photo sensorcan also be used with a sensor 48MP continuous shootingdual 32 MP and 16 MP and 4K video at 30 FPS. It also continues with connectivity WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. It is not known at the moment when will it be available so that phone manufacturers can add this new generation.
