Pyongyang warns that it will adopt a "tougher" strategy against Washington due to its cooperation with Seoul and Tokyo

MADRID Dec. 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –

North Korean authorities have advanced during a party event that they foresee a “tougher” strategy against the United States in response to their growing military cooperation with South Korea and Japan, which has constituted them into an “aggressive nuclear military bloc.” in the eyes of Pyongyang.

“Kim Jong Un has clarified strategic and tactical policies to more reliably ensure the strengthening of war deterrence for self-defense (…) to cope with the increasing military provocations of the US and its vassal forces against the DPRK ( North Korea), and has established “the tasks for its implementation,” the North Korean state agency KCNA reported this Sunday.

To face this “modern war”, the country’s authorities have opted for an “accelerated progress in defense science and technology”, as well as a “radical development of the defensive industry”, which will allow them to respond “promptly and intelligence to the harsh regional situation and the unstable structure of international relations” in order to firmly defend “its inviolable sovereign rights.

This is the way, the North Korean leader added, to occupy “firmly an international position as a representative and powerful independent force” and “dynamically promote the construction of a just multipolar world.”

“To cope with the demands and characteristics of modern warfare and cope with the enemy’s ever-changing war scenarios and modes of execution, we must improve our war-making capabilities by intensifying the research of our own style of tactics, giving a uninterrupted momentum to the work of putting its operations command on a modern computer base and constantly studying and applying scientific forms and methods of training,” he summarized.
