On June 18, 2024, Fortune magazine for the first time published the ranking of the 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia in 2024 – the Southeast Asia 500, based on their 2023 annual revenue. Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has had the honour of being among the 70 Vietnamese companies to make the list.

Three companies from the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) are recognized in the Top 100 of this list: Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company – BSR is ranked 52nd with revenues of $6.2 billion, Petrovietnam Oil Corporation – PVOIL is ranked 88th with revenue of $4.3 billion, and PV GAS is ranked 98th with revenue of $3.8 billion.

In addition, the Southeast Asia 500 also recognized the emergence of other Petrovietnam units, namely PV Power, PTSC, PETROSETCO, PVFCCo and PVCFC.
