PUBG: Battlegrounds modifies the metagame in patch 20.1

When Update 20.1 of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS of . Launches October 11 on PC and October 19 on consoles, players will find various improvements to weapon attachments, as well as revamps to vehicular firing, a new ranked season, and world, map, and quality of life upgrades.

  • Weapon accessories: As the Vertical Foregrip dominates the battlefield as a grip accessory, Update 20.1 will offer changes to the Thumbgrip, Angled Foregrip, Halfgrip, Vertical Foregrip, and Lightweight Grip. Visit the for a complete list of changes made to grip accessories.
  • Shooting from vehicles: There are many advantages to using vehicles in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDSand while using them to fight enemies has several advantages, the team conducted various tests and analyzed player feedback to reduce one-sided clashes between vehicles and players on foot.

    Driver’s seat: When Update 20.1 arrives, players driving a vehicle will have their reload animation canceled if they are steering the wheel. Also, for PC users the reload and recoil duration will be increased by approximately 50% and 20%.

    Passenger seats: Weapon recoil will be increased by 20% for PC users.

  • Weapon sights: To combat the lack of usefulness of automatic rifles, 8x and 15x scopes are now available to attach to the M16A4 and Mk47 Mutant. The 4x scope will also receive three additional reticle types for players to select and use their preferred.
