The company has reported that Prosegur Forex sales agents are available to travellers 24 hours a day to offer them a first-class specialised service and to help them with any queries.
With the opening of 18 new branches spread across the four terminals of Changi International Airport, Prosegur Forex now has up to 200 foreign exchange branches worldwide, and plans to increase the number throughout 2024.
In addition, the expansion of its operations in the Asia-Pacific country will generate the creation of more than one hundred jobs. A growth rate that positions the business as an important network of offices in areas of high tourist influx in countries such as Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia, as reported by Prosegur.
Ignacio Cea, Global Director of New Business at Prosegur Cash, says that this initiative represents “a significant step towards financial inclusion and demonstrates Prosegur Cash’s commitment to developing innovative solutions that not only respond to current market needs, but also respect the environment and promote sustainability.”
CONSOLIDATES ITS LEADERSHIP IN 2024
Cea also supports the positive scenario that Prosegur Forex has acquired this year, with the opening of its currency exchange services at Wellington International Airport, the second largest and busiest airport in New Zealand.
“We are delighted to begin operating with Prosegur Forex in a region that has faced major challenges in recent years and is rapidly recovering. In addition, both operations reinforce the development of our New Products area, a fundamental element of our company’s transformation and diversification strategy.”
At Wellington International Airport, the company has three branches, operational since February 2024, offering foreign exchange in more than 50 currencies and has also created a dozen jobs.
With the start of its activity in Singapore and New Zealand, Prosegur Forex now operates in 19 countries and major international airports, demonstrating its leadership in the cash management and financial services sector, its ongoing commitment to innovation, security and social responsibility, designing solutions that make a significant difference in people’s lives.
