Prosecutor’s Office reports the discovery of eight bodies in Chihuahua

() — The Chihuahua State Attorney General’s Office reported Wednesday, through a statement, that they found eight lifeless people in Guachochi, on the road to Piedra Agujerada and the municipal landfill.

The discovery was made by agents of the State Investigation Agency (AEI), together with personnel from the National Guard (GN), the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) and the Secretary of Public Security of the state (SSPE).

The prosecution added that two burnt-out vehicles were found. Two of the eight people found dead were burned. It was also reported that a person was found alive and is being treated by doctors.

The authorities added that they are in the area in tactical deployment, in order to restore the security of the town.
