Activists accused the government of being complicit in “war crimes” and “genocide” being committed in Gaza.
Four pro-Palestinian protesters climbed onto the roof of Australia’s Parliament in Canberra on Thursday and displayed banners to protest against the “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
Banners read “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and “There will be no peace on stolen land.”
The protesters accused the Australian government of being complicit in “war crimes” and “genocide” and called for an end to their country’s support for Israel.

“[El primer ministro australiano, Anthony] Albanese, has the blood stained hands“They shouted from the rooftop, directing the same accusation at Foreign Minister Penny Wong.
They also supported other causes such as Vietnam, East Timor, Afghanistan, East Papua and Iraq, among others.
In response to this, the opposition spokesman on the Interior, James Paterson, he pointed that the protest “represents a serious violation of the security of Parliament” and called for an investigation into the incident.
