MADRID Dec. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of Kyrgyzstan, Sadir Japarov, dismissed the country’s prime minister, Akilbek Japarov, this Monday, as announced by the Kyrgyz Presidency, which added that the former deputy prime minister, Adilbek Kasimaliev, has been placed at the head of the Government.
“In line with the decree signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadir Japarov, (…), the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, head of the Administration, Akilbek Japarov, has been dismissed from his position due to his transfer to another position “he said in a statement, without further details on the matter.
Likewise, it has announced the appointment of Kasimaliev as the new prime minister and the appointment of Daniyar Amangeldiev as deputy prime minister in separate statements published through its website, without Japarov having commented for now on his dismissal.
Japarov was appointed prime minister in October 2021 after previously serving as Minister of Economy and Finance during the Presidency of Kurmanbek Bakiev, who led the Central Asian country between 2005 and 2010.
