Capcom has shown the latest news from their video games at their annual Capcom Showcase conference, in which they have highlighted titles such as Pragmata, the Ace Attorney trilogy: Apollo Justice and Exoprimal, which will arrive on July 14.
During the event, which took place during the early hours of this Tuesday, the Japanese video game developer has shown players its latest news, with new titles presented and advances in other already known gameswhich will be made available to users in the coming months.
Thus, Capcom Showcase has started with a new game that could already be seen at the Xbox presentation event. Is about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and it is a ‘hack and slash’ action game in which users must face creatures based on Japanese mythology.
Specifically, as the company has shown in the preview, it is based on a battle between the spirit realm and mortal man. This title can be enjoyed on PplayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox and PC, although no release dates have been detailed.
Another of the announcements has been Mega Man X-Dive: Offline, a new installment of the Mega Man saga designed to be played both on PC and ‘smartphones’. Various characters from the entire franchise will participate in this title and, in addition, it has more than 900 levels of side-scrolling gameplay. Although a specific release date has not been reported, it will arrive during this year 2023.
One of the most anticipated video games has been pragmataa title that was already announced three years ago but that has suffered some delays in its release. Now, Capcom has shown a new trailer and ‘gameplay’ with images of the action and science fiction video game in which androids and a girl live together as the protagonist. No release date has been announced for this either.
A new trailer for Resident Evil 4 VRin which the developer has shown images of the video game that can be played on PlayStation VR2 in a new immersive experience of the horror adventure, as anticipated at PlayStation Showcase 2023.
Another of the announcements has been Ghost Trick: Phantom Detectivewhich players can enjoy from the next June 30. This is a remastering of the original Nintendo DS mystery game that can now be played on all platforms. Thus, users will be able to solve crimes with mechanics going back in time and by discovering different objects.
On the other hand, Capcom has also shared news of the Ace Attorney saga: Apollo Justice Trilogy. As announced, it is a trilogy that includes the fourth, fifth and sixth installments, in which the story of Apollo Justice is told.
These deliveries –Ace Attorney, Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice- coming early 2024 and will be playable on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, among its available languages, Spanish will not be found.
Another of the launches that has stood out the most has been exoprimalwhich will arrive next July 14. This is a title that delves into a world of action and dinosaurs that you can fight against in a cooperative mode for up to five players.
In the story, players will play the protagonist named Ace, who travels to the year 2040 and must explore various survival maps fighting against dinosaurs. Thus, Exoprimal will be Available for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC platforms.
During the event he could not miss Street Fighter 6. Capcom has revealed news about this chapter of the well-known fighting game that will feature new characters throughout the year. In this sense, the company has indicated that AKI will arrive in the fall of this year and Rashid in the summer. Likewise, the characters Ed (in winter of 2024) and Akuma (in spring of the same year) will also be included in the game.
Finally, Capcom Showcase has closed the event with Dragon’s Dogma 2. It is an action RPG game in which you can also play with up to four characters in multiplayer mode. In this second installment of the title, the map will be four times larger than the first Dragon’s Dogma and improvements have also been included in the graphics. However, the company has not detailed a release date.
