PowerWash Simulator announces a physical edition and a roadmap with paid and free content

Square Enix and the British studio FuturLab will not let the PowerWash Simulator phenomenon escape, a game in which you have to eradicate dirt with a pressure washer in hand. Publisher and development team have announced that PowerWash Simulator for consoles will be available in physical format from June 13, while the Muckingham Files update 1.2 will be released on April 18 and a roadmap will be launched throughout of 2023 will nourish the title with paid and free content.

The physical format edition of PowerWash Simulator will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. In this last console the game will be offered by means of a download code. As for the content, don’t expect any surprises, it will be the same as the digital edition, that is, the base game and the two free updates set in the Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider franchise. The physical edition of PowerWash Simulator is priced at 24.99 euros.

The Muckingham File update, which will be available from April 18, will take players to the desert of Mauka Aitu, where they will find a solar plant and a satellite dish that need a good spray of water. The update will also move the action to the Muckingham public park to clean a food truck. Additionally, the local story is expanded after new stories have been added to pre-existing bonus jobs that complement (but do not continue) the main storyline, in line with this update and future updates to the Muckingham universe.

With the 1.2 update delivered to PowerWash Simulator, three additional paid content awaits you, a free content, seasonal free content and a “news” that will be released during the third quarter. “Throughout 2023 we will be taking you places near and far with a series of special packs and updates focused on Muckingham and beyond,” say Square Enix and FuturLab.
