Specifically, the company confirmed that The King of Fighters All Star will cease operations as of October 30, 2024 in Westwhile Japanese fans will be able to play it until 31 October. As part of the server shutdown, the official website, social networks and other communication channels will also no longer be available.
In a statement, Netmarble apologized to fans and thanked them for their support and feedback for the nearly 6 years of activityHe also explained that, although other possibilities were analyzed, in the end the difficult decision was made to close the game due to the challenges of balancing the large roster of fighters.
The developer studio confirmed that it has prepared an updated infographic that will allow fans to learn about the original story of The King of Fighters All StarHe also promised that he will do everything possible to avoid errors and inconveniences that ruin the experience during the last few months.
