Political stalemate in France: will Macron find consensus to appoint a prime minister?

Almost two months after the early legislative elections in France, in which no political force achieved an absolute majority, the country remains without a clear direction and without a new prime minister. In recent days, President Emmanuel Macron has held talks with the leaders of the different political forces, but without an agreement yet, Macron seems to be at a crossroads: while the left is pushing for a prime minister from his coalition, the far right is threatening to block a government of that ideology and others, such as the socialists, are ruling out new talks with the president. Will Macron succeed in unblocking the appointment of a new government? Time is running out, on October 1st the deadline for a new prime minister to present to the legislature a budget bill for 2025 expires.
