Police shoot attacker dead

A man armed with a knife fatally stabbed one person and injured at least one other this Wednesday in the city of Bordeaux (France), according to the chain BFM TV. The attacker was killed by the Police.

The attack occurred at 8:00 p.m. local time when an individual, for reasons that are still unknown, stabbed several stab wounds to a personwho died, on the Stone Bridge over the Garonne River.

Shortly after, the attacker moved through the river docks where he stabbed another person, who was hospitalized in serious condition, according to local media.

After this second attack, the attacker was killed shortly after for the shots of a police patrol.

The authorities have initially ruled out the hypothesis of a terrorist attack and they consider that it is a settling of accounts.
