The British Police reported on Tuesday that a 31 year old man has been arrested as a prime suspect in murder in the city of nottinghamin central England, after three people were found dead in the streets of the city.
Around the 04:00 (local time), the agents received an alarm call because a neighbor on Ilkeston Road had found two bodies. Subsequently, another call alerted that a van too he had tried to run over three other people near the crime scene, on Milton Street. These three injured are being treated at the hospital.
The third person dead was found on the street Magdala Roadthis one located on the outskirts of the city center. “This is a horrific and tragic incident that has claimed the lives of three people,” said Police Chief Kate Meynell.

No indication was given as to the motive for the attack, but the police did not mention in their statement the involvement of anti-terrorism agents in the operative “It is too early to comment on the casualties or the exact nature of the incident,” the East Midlands Ambulance Service said.

A woman identified as Lynn told BBC TV that she had seen a van run over a man and a woman who were left lying in the street. “She went straight for these two people. This morning, the Police cordoned off the entire city center and reported that they were attending a “serious incident in progress“, which caused multiple road and railway cuts. Images and videos posted on Twitter show cordoned off areas and a large presence of emergency services.
“There are several road closures throughout the city as the incident is investigated. We ask the public and motorists to avoid the following areas and plan alternative routes“Police said in a statement.
Emergency services are present in areas that include the Maid Marian Way junction with Upper Parliament Street. Other cordoned off roads include Ilkeston Road, Milton Street, Maples Street and Woodborough Road, from the junction with Magdala Road into the city.
